ROUTE 

     Welcome and thank you for stopping by!  

I'm Summer Owens, and I started this project in September 2016 called "ROUTE" which stands for 'reaching out to everyone'.  I believe that everyone and everything could use a helping hand or two, always.  Maybe an elderly neighbor needs her yard mowed or someone's pet needs to be walked.  Maybe something bigger is needed like backpacks for kids starting school. Whatever it is and whoever needs it, I hope to help out whenever I possibly can. 

     I have been told that I have a special talent for music, and for playing piano. I have started using this gift by performing for residents at the Wellington Care Center every Thursday after school. And when I'm not in school, I go with my parents to their place of business and charge customers a quarter to listen to me play! Pretty nifty if you ask me. So far, I have earned $23 and counting.  'Come summertime, I'm sure I'll make alot more! With all of my earnings, I hope to buy lots of backpacks and school supplies for kids in my neighboring schools whose parents can't afford to buy for them.  And this makes me feel really good and really blessed.
